Cécred's own FAQ says it doesn't test any of its products on animals and that it's PETA certified, but I couldn't find it on PETA's cruelty-free list or on Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International, so this is the brand's word only for now. Its FAQ says its products are not vegan.

What they say: Its own site says: "No, we do not test any of our products on animals. ... We are committed to being cruelty-free, and are PETA Certified."
What that means: Cécred isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA yet, so nobody independent has checked this. Plenty of honest brands haven't applied, and some products, like paper goods, don't fit the main schemes well. It's the brand's word, so the choice is yours.
