Says it's cruelty-free. Not certified yet.
Koh Gen Do says it doesn't test on animals, but it isn't certified by Leaping Bunny or PETA, so that's the brand's word only. PETA's page says it may not be cruelty-free (it hasn't signed PETA's statement).
Does Koh Gen Do test on animals?
Koh Gen Do says it doesn't test on animals, but it isn't certified, so nobody independent has checked. What it says is below.
What they say: Its own site says: "In consideration of the global environment, we do not test our products on animals in the manufacturing process."
What that means: Koh Gen Do isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA yet, so nobody independent has checked this. Plenty of honest brands haven't applied, and some products, like paper goods, don't fit the main schemes well. It's the brand's word, so the choice is yours.
