Says it's cruelty-free. Not certified yet.
REN's own FAQ says it doesn't test any of its products on animals and that no third party tests them on its behalf, but I couldn't find REN on PETA's cruelty-free list or on Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International, so this is the brand's word only. Owned by Unilever.
🔍 parent company's testing policy is also unverified
Does REN test on animals?
REN says it doesn't test on animals, but it isn't certified, so nobody independent has checked. What it says is below.
What they say: Its own site says: "We do not test any of our products on animals. Our products are also not tested on animals on our behalf by any third-party."
What that means: REN isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA yet, so nobody independent has checked this. Plenty of honest brands haven't applied, and some products, like paper goods, don't fit the main schemes well. It's the brand's word, so the choice is yours.
