Cruelty-free, but its owner isn't.
Listed by PETA as cruelty-free (Secret deodorant, 2020), but owned by Procter & Gamble, who test on animals where required by law. Its website shows an icon saying cruelty free, paraben free and vegan, which is the brand's own claim and I couldn't tell which products it covers. This is the deodorant, not Victoria's Secret.
Does Secret test on animals?
Not itself, but its owner does. Secret is listed as cruelty-free, but Procter & Gamble tests on animals or sells where the law requires it. Regions on its listing: USA & Canada.
