Says it's cruelty-free. Not certified yet.
SHANY says it doesn't test on animals and doesn't buy from suppliers that aren't cruelty-free, and says it is PETA-certified. PETA has a page for Shany Cosmetics, but Shany isn't on PETA's cruelty-free list as of 15 Oct, so for now it's the brand's word only.
Does SHANY Cosmetics test on animals?
SHANY Cosmetics says it doesn't test on animals, but it isn't certified, so nobody independent has checked. What it says is below.
What they say: Its own site says: "We don’t test on animals and we don’t buy from suppliers who are not cruelty-free."
What that means: SHANY Cosmetics isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA yet, so nobody independent has checked this. Plenty of honest brands haven't applied, and some products, like paper goods, don't fit the main schemes well. It's the brand's word, so the choice is yours.
