Says it's cruelty-free. Not certified yet.
Virtue (Virtue Labs, the US haircare brand) says its formulas are cruelty-free. Old Leaping Bunny pages for Virtue Labs still show up in searches, but it isn't on the current Leaping Bunny list, so for now it's the brand's word only.
Does Virtue Labs test on animals?
Virtue Labs says it doesn't test on animals, but it isn't certified, so nobody independent has checked. What it says is below.
What they say: Its own site says: "Our formulas are gluten free and cruelty free."
What that means: Virtue Labs isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA yet, so nobody independent has checked this. Plenty of honest brands haven't applied, and some products, like paper goods, don't fit the main schemes well. It's the brand's word, so the choice is yours.
