Says it's cruelty-free. Not certified yet.
Waken's own site says it is "Always vegan and cruelty-free. No exceptions.", but I couldn't find it on Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA's cruelty-free list, so its cruelty-free status is the brand's word only.
Does Waken test on animals?
Waken says it doesn't test on animals, but it isn't certified, so nobody independent has checked. What it says is below.
What they say: Its own site says: "Always vegan and cruelty-free. No exceptions."
What that means: Waken isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA yet, so nobody independent has checked this. Plenty of honest brands haven't applied, and some products, like paper goods, don't fit the main schemes well. It's the brand's word, so the choice is yours.
