For the clearest read: fill the frame with just the ingredients text, hold the phone straight-on rather than at an angle, and make sure there's no glare across the panel. This only recognises ingredient names already in my dictionary and can miss things a photo reads badly - it's a helpful first pass, not a guarantee, and it's not a substitute for a brand's own vegan claim. "Fragrance"/"parfum" can legally hide undisclosed ingredients that no OCR tool can see. Nothing leaves your phone - the reading happens in your browser.
