Says it's cruelty-free. Not certified yet.
Fenty Beauty says it never tests on animals in any region, and that it doesn't allow suppliers or retailers to test for it, but it isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International, and PETA lists it as a company that may not be cruelty-free because it hasn't signed PETA's statement. Fenty Beauty isn't a vegan line (some products contain beeswax and carmine), but Fenty Skin and Fenty Hair say they're fully vegan. A joint venture between LVMH and Rihanna, 50/50. In October 2026 it was reported that LVMH's stake is being sold, but I found no signed deal.

Does Fenty Beauty test on animals?
Fenty Beauty says it doesn't test on animals, but it isn't certified, so nobody independent has checked. What it says is below.
What they say: Fenty Beauty says it never tests products or ingredients on animals, in any region, and doesn't allow suppliers or retailers to test for it.
What that means: Fenty Beauty isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA yet, so nobody independent has checked this. Plenty of honest brands haven't applied, and some products, like paper goods, don't fit the main schemes well. It's the brand's word, so the choice is yours.
