Tests, or sells where required
Tests on animals, or sells where it's required.
SheaMoisture tests on animals. Its FAQ says it doesn't test its products or ingredients on animals, but that some new US categories, such as antiperspirants and SPF, use ingredients its suppliers tested on animals to meet regulations, so it no longer meets PETA's criteria. It isn't certified by Leaping Bunny / Cruelty Free International or PETA. Owned by Unilever, which bought Sundial Brands in 2017. Only some products are vegan.
